Important: Your guitar is constructed from solid wood that was carefully dried and seasoned. Solid wood will absorb moisture in wet climates and expel moisture in dry climates. If not properly taken care of, your guitar may crack. This may be prevented by storing your guitar in its hardshell case and by using a soundhole humidifier. If you are unsure about the use of a humidifier, please contact us for a more detailed explanation.

Storage and Maintenance
To help maintain your guitar within factory specs, always store it in its case, and avoid prolonged exposure to extreme humidity changes (50 percent is optimal) or extreme temperature changes . Use a sound humidifier during temporary periods of low humidity to prevent drying-out and cracking, which can result in costly repairs. Never expose your guitar to extreme heat, such as a car cabin, car trunk, direct sun, attic, etc...Never store your guitar in extremely cold conditions. Never let your guitar be exposed to below Zero conditions. It is recommended that your guitar is detuned when storing for long periods of time. Never use heavy strings on your Babicz Guitar. When stringing your guitar, always use the provided String Anchor system . Never attach the strings directly to the Bridge Retainer as this may damage the soundboard.
